OUR JUNIORS Paul Marks, vice-president; Lewis Gurthet, president; Christine Emigh, secretary; Stanley Bradley, treasurer. We juniors are now one step nearer our goal, graduation from P.H.S. This year we have really become a part of our school. Being juniors we are eligible for many clubs and activities (such as S.S.S., Hi-Y, and Dramatics Club) which we could not join until this year. We handled the concessions at the basketball games and candy sales at noon this year in order to give the class of '55 the best prom ever. To guide us through our junior year, Mrs. Phillips, Miss Eash, Mr. Branigan, Mr. Madden, and Mr. Scherrer were our sponsors. After much campaigning with posters and slogans, we elected Lewis Gurthet, president; Paul Marks, vice-president; Chris- tine Emigh, secretary; and Stanley Bradley, treasurer, our class officers. Everything considered, we have had a good year as juniors of P.H.S. We wish the graduating class good luck, and hope we can enjoy a year as good as theirs. 30
