PAGE 30 SPRING FESTIVAL On Friday, April 14th, the annual tradition of presenting the Spring Festival took place. Reigning over this event as queen was Rosemary Jones who was crowned by the maid of honor, Helen Nelson. The members of the queens court were Peg Pifer, Luella Zehner, Miriam Warnock and Phyllis Thompson. The quen's train was carried by Linda Girten and janet Murray, kindergarten pupils. Charles Stevens, another kindergarten pupil, carried the crown. Among the festivities which the queen viewed were: American Folk Dances, Tumbling, Modern Fast Dances, Waltzing and Callisthenics. The girls physical education Classes under the guidance of Miss Minnie Snow were responsible for putting on this evening of entertainment which was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire audience. lx F
