Elkhart won the next game, due to the inability of the Redmen to hit the basket. The score, 23 to 13, in no way signifies the battle that was fought. At the Bourbon Blind Tourney, Ply- mouth lost two games by small margins. Bourbon, trailing all the game, managed to have a one-point lead at the finish. Culver, held scoreless the last half, de- feated the Pilgrims 17 to IS. Bourbon easily defeated Bremen to win the tourney. Plymouth lost the next three encounters with West Lafayette, Goshen and Culver. The last Plymouth-Bourbon tilt Droved to be a defensive battle. Bourbon made only one basket in the game, receiving the other ten points from the charity line. Ulrich and Tan- ner shared high point honors. Fr.Tiir.Roi r Plymouth came through the '32-’33 season with thirteen victories and thir- teen defeats, completing one of the hard- est schedules ever attempted by Lincoln high school. The Pilgrims defeated Argos 38 to 27. Ulrich was high point man with 20 points. Knox was stopped with a close score of 23 to 19. The Rochester tilt was the Red and White's first defeat. With three regulars on the bench due to sickness, the Pilgrims dropped the next game to Riley. Lead- ing the greater part of the game, they were overtaken only in the closing period. Bremen was defeated in an overtime game. The team next jour- neyed to Bourbon where they lost by a four-point margin. The next two games were lost to Akron. 27 to 25, and to North Judson, 3C to 22. Plymouth won the next four games. Culver proved easy to beat, the final score being 17 to 9. Bremen was defeated 21 to 13. The Pilgrims beat North Judson 27 to 24. The Pilgrims won back the “cowbell and broke the old tradition that Plym- outh could not defeat a Rochester team on the Rochester tioor. Tanner and Fetherolf shared high point honors. The Pilgrims reached their peak in the sec- tional. Drawing Mishawaka for their first game, they defeated them 35 to 25. Heating New Carlisle by a top heavy score of 17 to 24 they continued in the next fray to come up from the rear and defeated Central 31 to 21. Starting with a llash and keeping the pace, Plymouth led at the half 21 to 13. The last half proved to be too much for the tired Red and White men who went down fighting and were defeated only in the last second of play. Five members of the Plymouth team were honored on the sectional team: Ulrich and Tanner, forwards: Anstrand, center: Fetherolf and Samuels, guards. Park eh
