WE ARE THE WIND We were locked up Within a building Within ourselves For endless years Wrhile we watched the world outside Through our windows In yearning and envy As it went on growing and living Without the need of us. The days rushed by Like Wasted summer leaves Dried up and deadened by autumn And swept away by the wind Never to be seen again. And we longed to be part of that wind To fly above our mundane lives And to escape our prison And to live where we wanted As we wanted Suddenly our sentence is over And we find ourselves together for the last time All that we shared together: All the fears All the fun All the pains All the tears i Will soon only be memories o A Of an uncertain time When all we had And each other
