MR. JAMES PERRY How can we be sure of anything the tide changes. The wind that made the grain wave gently yesterday blows down the trees tomorrow. And the sea sends sailors crashing on the rocks, as easily as it guides them safely home. -Rod NIcKuen 7 VIHO 3

THE CLASS WITH CLASS As the autumn of 1971 fell upon us, we began to experience four of the most memorable years of our lives. We entered P-C High School as freshmen, bringing with us an overall feeling of insecurity and inferiority. As the years progressed, however, this inferiority gradually transformed into the omnipotent attitude of superiority. The reasons for this radical transition are clearly evident, for we've done new things, made new friends and touched many fresh and sometimes even foreign ideas. We have achieved goals no prior class has or could have accomp- lished, because we are and always will be beautifully different. All that we have done we did in our own special way. . . the uniquely individual way of the class of 1975. It was this doing, this continual growing and learning that has taken us through the necessary metamorphosis . . . the transition from frightened little freshmen to the stable young men and women we are today. We are now ready to take on the responsibility for our lives, and yes, the lifeline of our great country. We have an inexperienced knowledge, but it is a youthful one and is eager to be of use. We have interacted with the town and the community and have had a taste of what it is to be free. . . we have the choice of creating our own destiny. Growing away from youth does not necessarily mean growing out of youth. In our hearts there will always be that youthful vitality and looking back into our memories will help reinforce that tremendous youngness. The following pages are dedicated to igniting these memories of the past four years, dedi- cated in hopes that in 20 years it will be possible to glance at the words written here and, relive momentarily the good ol' days of youth. But remember as you journey through the land of nostalgia that the past need only be recalled, the future need only be lived. ln the beginning, God created freshmen, fearful little people, no more than walking bundles of paranoia you know, afraid of the dark and all. Such a conglomeration of so very many different emotions and a rough start to the fleeting years ahead. We didn't think much about the rest of the world-we didn't even ponder over our eventual graduation. No, we freshmen were much too busy looking
