SENIORS On September 6, 1955 the class of l959 entered the doors of Plummer HighSchool. We found that our adviser, Mr. Gilbert Martinez, was also new to the school. Our first class meeting was held and we elected our officers: President, Jill Emerson, Vice-President, Darrell Gossett, Secretary, Carolyn Andrews, Treasurer, Virginia Beals, Stu- dent Council Representative, Mary Ann Coe. We lost one student in the first 6 weeks leaving us with 24 students. In our initiation we started the tradition of painting the 'P' on Hookey Mt. In 1956 we were Sophomores and our class had decreased to 22 students. Our officers this year were: President, Darrell Gossett, Vice-President, Roger Olson, Secretary, Jill Emerson, Treasurer, Mary Ann Coe, Student CouncilRepresentative, Linda Tovey. In the fall of l957 we were finally upper classmen. We then had only 15 students. Our officers were: President, Roger Olson, Vice- President, Mary Ann Coe, Secretary, Carolyn Andrews, Treasurer, Virginia Beals, StudentCouncil Representative, Jack Kelly. Our popcorn and hotdog sales at the games were very profitable. This year, 1959 was really our most exciting year. We are Seniors and this is our last year. Our class officers are: President Mike Schow, Vice-President, Roger Olson, Secretary, Virginia Beals, Treasurer, Mary Ann Coe, Student Council Representative, Darrell Gossett, Ser- geant-of-arms, Lillas Tanner. Our major project was our annual. Mr. Towne was our adviser and we had only 13 students left. Our class colors: lavender and white, motto 'If you can't swim don't rock the boat.' and flower: white rose. A. G. WEST Dist. Mobil Products SANDERS Sq-GRE Plummer. 1418110 Sanders, Idaho PROP!-IECY FOR l969 The air brakes whistle as Jack Kelly drives into Seniorville, U.S.A. in one of his freight trucks from the J, T. Kelly Tucking Company. On his trip his thoughts have been about his 59 classmates and he is most anxious to see them. His first stop is Judy's Cafe in the center of town. Judy's hamburgers are fam- ous around this country and many celebraties stop there. Jack just gets seated when Jill comes rushing in very excited about a new hair style she has created. Next door to the Cafe Jill has established abeauty Salon. Jill sits down next to Jack and mentions the fact that he has just missed Rosie, who had recently left on a tour of Europe modeling the world famous Emerson Creations. Looking out the window Jack sees Mike, the town Mayor, busily discussing a seemingly important problem with the sheriff who he recognizes as Darrell. It seems as though someone stepped on Patty's famous black Angus. She begins to cry as everyone seems to be running to the scene. Get a doctor, no, a veterinarian, No! No! apsychiatrist.Virginia Beals runs tothe scene with the Do it yourself doctor kit. Within seconds the town minister, Lillas, arrives on the scene in case the cow dies and funeral arrange- ments have to be made. Running by the scene is Roger. He doesn't stop because he's training for the track event in the Olympics in Australia. The crowd gradually breaks up and Jack decides he'd better be on his way. As he drives away from the Cafe he notices Pat and her family on their way to the store. Down at the end of the block it's recess time at the community school and MaryAnnis busily trying to get the kids back into the building. At the last moment Jack remembers to stop by the Old Maids Home and see if a girl has come in to fit his qualifications of a wife. Carolyn tells him the girl he wants will be there next month, so he goes back to his truck and continues on, looking forward to picking up his new wife and once again seeing his friends. TWELVE YEARS TOGETHER Twelve years ago, we five seniors en- tered the doors of Plummer Grade School as small lst graders, rather frightened. We had many adventures such as our second grade teacher getting married to the janitor after school was out that year, when we were eighth graders our basketball team won the sportsmanship award at the grade school tournament. Through high school it remained the same, we gained some new students and lost some of our friends but we five are still here. The Pirates had the best year in football since 1951, by winning4, tieing 1 and losing only 3. Darrell Gossett was the only senior playing in the last game. This game was the worst defeat of the year for the Pirates. The ball was fumbled 7 times by the Pirates and this was a great help to Worley in winning the game. There will be 13 of this year's squad re- turning next year and they will be able to give the other teams of the conference a bad time. The only injury of the year came just 3 games from the end of the season. Roger Olson was out with a kidney injury and did not see action for the rest of the season. Roger Olson, Darrell Gossett, and Mike Schow have played their last game for the Pirates. Pirate teams ofthe future will have to play good ball to better this year's record.
