HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF '52 Class Motto: Push, pull, or get out of the way. Class Colors: Aqua and white Class Flower: Scarlet rose The year l9b8 was a year never to be forgotten. That was the year thirty-two green freshmen entered the por- tals of Plummer High School. The day arrived that we had been looking forward to with anticipation. In our costumes of gunny sack dresses, swimming suits and men's pajamas we wandered through the halls in fear of meeting a high and mighty sophomore. When at last the day was over, the sophomores gave us a party which we returned later in the year As we were full-pledged P. H. S. members we elec- ted class officers. They were as follows: Helen Dittberner- President, Eddie Babbitt-Vice President, Jeanette Eaton- Secretary treasurer, and Shirley Smith-Councilman. Mr. Donald Butler replaced Mrs. Ralph advisor. Our candidates for carnival Helen Dittberner and Dan Bishop. Two men were elected cheer leaders. They Ruth Meredith. Johnson at the semester as our queen and king were of our fellow fresh- were Helen Nelson and On May lu, four cars were seen heading for Conklin Park. It was the frosh going to their advisor's cottage. We thouroughly enjoyed the day spent there. When school was over for that year we had become a part of the institution we were attending. We returned the next year as sophomores, Cusual pro- cedure.l Our class officers were Dan Bishop-President, Eldon Loe-Vice President, George Robinson-Secretary, Harry Keefer- Treasurer. There were twenty-four of us this Year. Mr. James Spooner was our advisor. Our candidates for carnival queen and king were Ramona Marsh and Robert Lowry. It was our turn to iniate the frosh. We gave them a party that evening. Many of our classmates participated in sports. We recieved our class rings and were very proud of them. Our junior class President, George Robinson Robert Lowry-Treasurer and advisor was Mr. Hayduk. This year was an we sold candy, pop and hot officers were Shirley Smith- Vice President, Dan Bishop-Secretar Leila Hunt-Councilman. Our class active one. At all the home games dogs. It proved very profitable.
