. 4 Foreword The staff gives to all its schoolmates, teachers, and friends, this, the 1952 Criterion. The theme is words and pictures-a factual and straight-forward recording of the most eventful and important years of your lives. In the following pages we hope to credit properly those who have contributed so much to what you are and what you have accomplished in this year at Plum High. There were times when the long assignments and what some thought, rather severe discipline caused many gripes. But, long after they are forgotten, you will remember with pleasure and appreciation the activities you took part in, the teachers and administration, and the hundred and one little incidents that were so numerous to us at that time of our lives.
