SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President ,,,, ,. . , Robert Buhl Vice President , Thomas Archer Secretary ,, Rose Subic Adviser Mr Beckert Trcasurcr .. Mr. MCJUhkll1 The Class of '42 Early in October, 1939, we entered Plum High as Sophomores. Having spent our first year of high school in various districts, we used most of our Sophomore year in becoming acquainted with our new classmates, our new teachers, and our new building. As Juniors, we began to pick up momentum. Class skates, a Skirt and Sweatcr Swing, and the Junior-Senior Prom in May were successful class projects. The athletic program was under way and members of our class were stars on all of thc teams. The National Honor Society selected some of us for awards. Now, as Seniors, we hold the center of Plum High's stage. Athletics, pictures, class, work on the annual, newspaper, clubs, and the Senior play, What a Life, kept us busy the entire year. More of our members were selected for the National Honor Society. May and the Prom, and then in June . . . Commencement week when we get our rewards and recognition for our work throughout our high school days. With graduation exercises, most of us suddenly realize that our school days are ended and we have begun a new phase of our lives. 17
