Zelda is her name There was a girl in our class her name was Brenda. The dark-haired lass who always had something The nurses all sigh when they see Herb go by He is so handsome and fair that's why they care. Roy is the boy who debates for joy. Who plays cards well Pine Creek is her aim. La Vonne is a comic. We all agree. A great success she'll always be. This introduces Robert Who sat near Herbert When they get together, they discuss more than the weather. Dave has never been late not ever for a date. If he comes on time, we all could save a dime. ASS POEM CF I96O Now listen my people while we shout from all the steeples. About thirty two seniors without any misdemeanors. Red hair, blue eyes, freckles here and there. That's Phil's description so very debonaire. Jackie is our fair-haired lass our great cheerleader is she. Always so pleasant to be with a favorite she will always be. Mary Ellen, our majorette, full of pep and zest. She always tries her hardest. She always does her best. At studies he's tops and as a tease he's the latest. In sports he excels. Mike is the greatest. Never a dull moment the devil in his eye. That's our Eugene. He's our guy. Tall and lanky Art's the guy. Who we all like but is sometimes so shy. A rock and roll fan who loves to dance. None other than Dianne with a lively prance. Slim, blonde and trim Nancy has lots of vim. For the red-haired guy she is out to win. Wayne's the man who leads the band. Everyone thinks he is just grand. Larry is the guy whose motorcycle flies. He also enjoys making the girls sigh. Prom queen was Joan a beauty on the throne. From her you only hear a very pleasant tone. He's never slow and always ready. He's the guy known as little Eddie. Betty is happy and always so gay. Being a good sport makes her that way. Editor of our annual So studious and true. Mary Ann's the girl who always follows through. Never a worry and hardly a care. Phyllis is happy most anywhere. Jean D., our President, a go-getter is she. At work she's never hesitant. Famous she will be. Linda sings soprano a hit she always is. At playing the piano She's really quite a whiz. Whenever one thinks of John. There comes to mind. A name of renown just like the dollar sign. There was a boy in our class who never came in last. A gentleman to every degree who answers to Orville Kloke. Out on the court with a ball there is a boy who is quite tall Jerry will answer the call and never fall. We have a young miss. who has never missed. A day of high school Jean K. falls into that pool. Then comes another. Who is her brother No other than Harold Krogstad. Kenny has a car the tops by far. That comes under the name of a nchevyn fame.
