N If you were to project yourself to the year 1985, you will iind the Class of 1960 holding their 25th reunion. My how times have changed. Departing for this big event from the Plum City area are MR, and MRS. PHILIP TSCHUMPERLIN nee NANCY HOFMEISTER on a world submarine cruise. This is to be the first submarine to go around the world on a social visit and 32 people will enjoy the friendship of old. Stopping at the place of renown, Plum City high School, they visit with MR. LINDHOLM, principal and staff, under the television series of education. Now you stay at home and enjoy your 3 R's via the channel selector. You are required to attend your graduation and class trip under the education set up, Washington, D. C. is the next stop on the agenda to get the visa and shots necessary to undergo this venture. At our nation's capitol, they find that DOUG FOX is the head of the secret service and pay a call upon him. DOUG was a class- mate until he left for Pepin to graduate. With all papers in order they depart for the home port of their submarine New York City. At the port of embarkation, they see the Sub Ajax . Could that be the home of MR, and MRS. MIKE WISKERCHEN nee LINDA SEIPEL who were classmates of theirs. A visit and tour of the sub confirms their idea. Yes, this is the homo of tho of the Class and a floating farmc MIKE and LINDA tell them to visit ORVILLE KLOKE at his farm in Iceland where he grows icicles. So the first port of visit is to call on ORVILLE. The officer in charge of arrest is GENE HEI the outstanding water policeman of 1985. GENE asks where they are bound and is told London. A fellow class mate of theirs is there. So paying for the diving fine they depart to visit with HAYNE HOLMSTADT and his band of oscillations which has taken England by storm, Wayne greets them at the port. A tour of the city of London and then a departure to Rome. A speeding ticket hauls them into court and the tall, elderly judge reminds them of JERRY WALDVOGEL a fellow graduate. Sure enough, that is who it is. JERRY has been at Oran, Africa for ten years holding court. JERRY gives them a tour of the Hdark continentu and tells them to call on MARY ANN HOPHAN in Rome. Leaving Oran and short journey brings them into Rome. Everyone knows MARY ANN as she is the head mistress of all schools of Europe. MARY ANN gives them a sight seeing tour of the eternal city. Leaving Rome they decide to visit Istanbul as long as they are this close. Endering port they sight the sign - LARRY GILBERT3ON'3 One Man Sub Garage. Yes, this is the blonde boy of their class.
