Homecoming 1982 Homecoming week of 1982 started off with Toga and Western Day followed by Punk Rock Day, Halloween Day, Hippi Day, and finally polishing it all off with Orange and Black Day. Thursday night was corona- tion as Matt Marsh, the King, and Jackie Syme, the Queen, became P.H.S. royalty. Among the queen candidates included Debbie Jackson, Nancy Ander- son, Carolyn Nistler, and Martie Richards. Their es- corts and also king candidates included Craig De- Silva, DeLoy Hansen, John Johnson, and Darin Mi- chels. The P.H.S. Gridders conquered the Poplar Indians in the Homecoming game on Friday night, and the Senior Class of ’83 ran away with the float competition. Homecoming 1982 concluded with a CKCK sponsored dance.
