A Zhis Book Js 'Dedicated Zo- Florence Zimmerman Mrs. Timmerman is a graduate of Minot Teachers’ College, Minot, North Dakota. She taught for one year at Berlington High School in Berlington, North Dakota before coming to Plentywood to teach in 1945. She then left teaching to raise a family of three boys — Gary, Craig, and Joel. Mrs. Timmer- man returned to P.H.S. in 1955 and is still a favorite of the students in 1982. Mrs. Timmerman’s hobbies include ce- ramics, knitting, and crocheting. This book is dedicated To one who’s educated So many, many minds throughout the years. She has such deep emotion Allows no wild commotion But plods along through all the laughs and tears. So early every school day Be it nice, or on a cool day, She walks the blocks that take her to her room. She sits correcting papers She plans for coming capers, She works throughout each day to make minds bloom. Her heart is golden-plated. Her life, uncomplicated. Her motto is to do the best she can. Striving, always to excell Teaching students, teaching well, And she has done this since she first began. The standards she has set For students, to be met, Have never given way to second-rate. So, from all your former students We say, with greatest prudence, FLORENCE TIMMERMAN, we just think you’re great! We put on a Rockathon, Junior-Senior Banquet, Spring Prom, and the Junior Class Play. We struggled at times, but on the whole we had a good time taking part in all these things. We struggled every night for a week and finally managed to get done in time for the homecom- ing parade. When the other activities, such as basketball, wrestling and speech started, it was hard to find people to serve concessions, but we managed to get through it. Each page of this annual should provide a memory that you will cherish as you relive again those golden years of school. Parents, other relatives, teachers, your religious leaders, and friends of Plentywood have all worked toward the common goal of providing for you an opportunity for a sound education. I am confident that you will repay many times over the efforts of those people that provided your education as you contribute to society in the years to follow. My best wishes for a happy and fulfilling future. Robert Richards, Superintendent Remember that cold bus ride to Wolf Point???
