Our guests for today are from the secluded northeastern tip of Montana better known as Plentywood. Our first guest is Marianne Bjornsen, professional photographer for MAD magazine. Some of her pictures have also appeared in the FARM JOURNAL. Mike Ator has just finished the building of his new research laboratory. He claims that algae soup will be everywhere by 1980. Brides of the year, the former Julie and Irene Kanning, have just published a book entitled HOW TO LAND A MAN. It has been selected as the year's best seller. Joel Timmerman has organized his own acrobatic troop and he tours the world once a year. Mr. Swanson, his manager, takes full credit for Joel's performance. It seems as though matrimony was the first step with several of these girls. Linda Smith, Chris Wood, Cheryl Brightsman, and Marie Vert have all settled for the dreadful four-letter words--cook, wash, iron, --and the patter of little feet. Larry Bentsen is now working on his new element, Bentsonium 110. As yet it isn't perfected but Larry will never forsake the cause of science. WE WILL PAUSE NOW FOR A STATION BREAK. Clarence's Dairy Lunch, which was persuasively handed over to his daughter, Myrna, has re- cently changed its slogan to WALK IN EMPTY, COME OUT FAT. They say business and customers are expanding. AND NOW BACK TO OUR PROGRAM. Joel Tande is a test driver for the Ford foundation. He worked his way up through the ranks to the very top. Incidentally, Joel got his start in driving right in beautiful downtown Plentywood. Alton Rasmussen is now commander of the USS Rasmussen. His ship is frequently employed in shelling the Viet Cong. With Alton’s leadership, the war should be over in another ten years. The local nightclub spot, the Queen's Court, owned and operated by Sandy Rorvig, has been featuring a local singing combo-the... uh... Raymond Robins! The limelight is also shared by famed comedianne, Janice Lawson, with her sidekick, Don Bolke. (Because of the fact that show business runs in their family, Melpha and Marcella Blair organized the Raymond Robins.) Steve Ziedler is linebacker for the world champion Green Bay Packers. Steve's play off the field is just as hilarious as on it. He should be on MVP in next year’s contest. The metropolis of Plentywood seems to have its share of talent. Dixie Ross, world renowned Spanish teacher, is currently teaching in Ringy Dingy located in the jungles of Puerto Rico. Kern's Gambles Store has now expanded to another location. Steve has set up a store in Los Angeles and frequently makes trips to the Superintendent Lagerquist's residence. Just recently Lauranne Bergh received her certificate. The cowgirl of the year, little Natalie Wold, became the new owner of Wold Groves, the fa- mous horse ranch. They are known internationally for the excellent stock they raise. 85 Fred Kavon was just hired as assistant football coach, Fred emphasizes getting off to a fast break. Now that Sharon Midby, Wanda LaFond, and Claudia Clawson have received their nuise's cer- tificates and are currently employed at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, it is unsafe to take your aches and pains there for fear you will be pulverized by one of their shots. Larry Setrum went into northern Canada and discovered a gold mine. With his land assets he could be prime minister if only he would stay. Glenn Miller and Dave Pomerleau are in charge of ticket sales. Oh yes, they sell tickets at the We Lost, formerly Kaspers. Glenn's book I WAS ONE OF 36 was just published by Smolak Pub- lishers. Dan Kisler is a professional stunt man. He drives brand new cars into town and brings them out with exactly $1500 in damages. Joel Granvold is head custodian at the Plentywood Schools. He has perfected a new electric mop which allows him to clean the whole school in 10 minutes. Sally Janssen had hoped to follow in her father's footsteps as county agent, but they say it's a job for a man. Although I hear that Sally can do anything any old man can do. But this time she will have to forfeit the job to her brother Dale. Books Domonoske just completed his latest film, Return of the Dombies. --which promised to be a big attraction at the Orpheum. Ann Chandler, local Home Economics teacher, and part-time housewife, has just win the Mrs. America title. I guess her husband, Tony Knick, was nominated also--for Mr. America. Jerel Gustafson again repeated for the fifth time as 100m., 200m, 400m, broad jump, and triple jump Olympic champion. Although age is against him, he says he will never retire. Kurt Madsen is now a world wide promoter of antique cars. He even created a similiar model to the old T, the model K. Another one to join the ranks of teaching is Barbara Popescu. However, she didn’t stick it out in the old home town--Scobey's where she’s employed. Tony Knick is working on his Dr. 's degree on the born loser theory. He claims Wart will nev- er win should provide a just title for the thesis. Do you wake up in the morning with your tiger growling? Never fear, Bev's Flakes are here. With Linda Brelje for a wife, Ron couldn't want much more. Just recently a brawl occurred in the elementary school of Plentywood, when Linda Eckerdt's third graders were attacked by Karen Lindblom's fisty fourth graders. The brawl broke out after Miss Eckerdt gave a lecture on self-defense. The casualties were a black eye for Miss Eckerdt and a nose bleed for Miss Lindblom. The brawl was refereed by Linda Collins, the fifth grade teacher. Reverend Glover is residing at the local parish. Along with the Missus, life certainly seems to be prospering for them. Rancher Jim Lossing is now head of the Cattlemen's Association. He and Valerie live a quaint little existence back at the ranch. Sheila Mehl is now the proprietor of the Shee Lee's Little Dolls. Her business is very popular with the younger set. And then there is Noly--super disc jockey.
