I and II girls. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Heppner, head cooks, attended a hot lunch conference at Wolf Point. They alldeservea big thank you from the school for the fine job they did. These are the men who deserve the credit for the well-kept and clean school that we have. Their efforts helped to make our school what it is, and we owe them a lot for their fine job. All of the home games were played under the lights in Lincoln Field. SCHOOL LIFE 45 CHEERLEADERS A TEAM: TOP to BOTTOM: Carol Brenteson, Connie Sorenson, Vernita Furst, Pamela Mayer. The A Team Cheerleaders were a very busy group this year. They attended all the basketball and football games, both at home and away, and participated in all the Pep Assemblies. They par- ticipated in the Wolf Point Tournament, and at the State Class B Tourney at Billings, where Pamela Mayer won the State Cheerleader's Trophy. Leslie Hurst and Jane Gaines were King and Queen of the 1957 Senior Christmas Ball, which was held on December 20. The Concert Choir at the Open House Program for NEA Week Singing in the steps at Christmas The PHS Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Philip J. Berry, sang at the Open House Program during NEA Week, and also performed at the Winter Concert on December 3. As is the custom, the Choir sang in the Christmas Assembly and also over the inter-communication system. Berry, made its first appearances in the Harvest Festival Parade and at the home football games. Their music added much to the Pep Assemblies, and also set the pace at the basketball games. The Winter Concert was on December 3, and the Spring Concert was presented on March 21. The band also performed in formations and between games at the Class B Tournament at Wolf Point. They received a Superior rating at the Band Festival in Medicine Lake, competed in the Kinsman International Band Festival in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, took part in the annual Band Day in Williston, and were represented at the State Music Festival in Missoula.
