We, the Class of 1962, in leaving Pleasantville High School, take with us many cherished memories of the past four years. They represent a period of giving and of receiving: of giving our time and our minds to the task at hand and of receiving in return the basis of an education to which each of us will add those experiences that shape an individual's and a natifin's destiny. Pleasantville is and always will be our school. Because we have gained so much here, we urge future leaders of this school to preserve its quality and uphold its prestige. Its continuing excellence depends upon the active dedication of those who teach and those who learn. In these times when peace is the collective hope, and strength and courage the collective needs, we know that in education is our strength suppliedg and in the eternal heart of man are found the hope and courage that man will prevail.
