On account of this commission, graduates of Pleasantville High School hold as high standing as graduates of any high school in the state. VVhile John Buck was trustee, several steps were taken toward the finishing of the building. The auditorium was finished and seated, the rooms were wired for electricity. and concrete floors were put in the basement. Dora H. Bedwell took office as trustee in January, 1923. This winter an electric power line has been ,run to l.'leasantville, so that our building is now furnished with real electric lights. Two school wagons bring in children from the country. Plans are being made for improvements in the science departments of the school. Some of the young people who have gone out from this school have at- tained high positions.
