2 TO OUR READERS: We of the Annual Staff are most happy to present the 1958 edition of the Hilltop. It is not that we believe it of superior quality but we do believe that it possesses all of the necessities to render you a very conceivable interpreta- tion of the functions at P. R. H. S. during the past year. The chief purpose of all those who served on the staff this year has been to offer an annual which will be of unaccountable value to every reader. We are quite sure as you look through this annual you will immediately descry our theme. We believe that this edition of your Hilltop, with the occa- sions seasonally presented, will offer you a clearer conception of when each occurence made its appearance during our school year. Each student has his own personal memory of school days at P. R. H. S. For some Seniors this year marks an end oi formal education while for others it marks only a beginning. But whether it be the ending or the beginning, the endeavor oi each graduate shall be to become a success. And now the year has come to an end and you have this book to help you remember the sorrows and the delights which have composed it. May we, as your Editor and Assistant Editor, in behalf ot the entire annual stait, hope that it serves as a masterpiece of eternal memory. Sincerely yours, Harley C. Carpenter, Editor Phyllis Wheelock, Asst. Editor COX MOTOR CO. Ford, Mercury, G Lincoln Sales Body Shop G Wrecker Service Pleasanton, Kansas Hcn'ley C. Carpenter EDITOR Phyllis Wheelock ASST. EDITOR
