The class chose Charles Winslow as their leader to guide them over the rough spots. Eager to help him were his able assistants, Leonard Shearer, Mary Elizabeth Reed, and Eugene Slater. The Junior Class was proud to have Junior Calvin and Marjorie Arnold represent- ing them as King and Queen tor Stunt Night held December the ninth. The Class ot 44 was entertained royally by the Class ot 45 in a most unusual and colortul manner at the traditional banquet held in May. Miss Long and Miss Ham- rick, gave their undivided co-operation, as assistants, to making this one ot the most successtul events ot the year. True sportsmanship was shown by all the boys who entered in basketball and sott- ball and helped make our teams victorious. The Junior boys broke the ice by entertaining the girls at the tirst ot the year, giving them a party which included games and dancing. ln the spring a picnic, which excelled all other activities, was enjoyed by everyone. The Class, as a whole, has participated in every activity ot the school. Whole- heartedly, and loyal to their names as Juniors, they have never made it be loser. 1 2 A 7
