Dr. and Mrs. U. B. Ogden were a vital part in our community life. He served many years on the school board, a job that requires a lot of work but gives very little praise. He worked hard as a doctor, and he enjoyed his life of constantly giving his service to mankind. The Ogdens will be missed greatly in our community and in our school. .912 smllmly Walter Allen Pursch. then a Senior. was an example to us when we were young Freshmen. He was a boy who was respected greatly by all the student body. He was voted Class President, Most Likely to Succeed, Most Dependa- ble, and Best Citizen. He was awarded Best All-Around Boy, and the coveted Plaque Award for scholarship. loyalty, and achievement. His ambition was to become a doctor and to serve others. He lived only twenty-one years. but those years were full of meaning and the happiness of living. - and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, was in- augurated on January 20, 1961, our Freshman year. He was taken from us on November 22, 1963, our Senior year. He is a symbol of courage, strength, and wisdom. He was a great man and a great president. He made us aware of our country and of our great heritage. Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.
