WC?-fd-'57 In 1952, 33 freshmen started at Pleasant Mills High. During the year David Gehres moved away so it left only 32 of us. During the month of September the Seniors initiated us. It was the day of our lives. We really had a time. For our officers we chose the following: Sponsor ----------------- Mr, Johns President - - - - - Larry Merriman Vice President - - - - -Jeanie Babcock Treasurer - - - - - -Ellen McAhren Secretary - - - - - Ada Foor We started our sophomore year with 32 losing Rex Werst, Helen Burkhart, Maxine Cook, Ronnie Hill, and Roger Kelsey. By this time most of the boys were interested more in sports. We enjoyed 2 parties during the year and chose the following for officers of our class. Sponsor - - - - Mr. Johns President ---- - - Larry Myers Vice President- - - - - John Wolfe Treasurer - - - - - Judy Brunstrup Secretary --------------- Sue Fortney 27 Jolly Juniors started the year out for 1954. This was a very busy year as we had to make the money for the class trip. At the beginning of the year we received our class rings. We had several money making activities: concessions at the ball games, bake sales, and selling school supplies. On April 24, we took our class trip to Washington, D.C. and we returned on the 28th.
