Senior History In 1950, twenty-five green freshmen started to high school. The boys were so dumb they all took seven subjects. The girls were a little smarter because they only took five subjects. The seniors initiated us and gave us a party quite a while after school had started. That year we elected the following officers: Darlene Fortney, president Jack Bebout, vice-president - Larry Myers, secretary - Roger Ripley, treasurer. We had two parties that year. Mr. Coppess was our C1355 sponsor. When we came back for our sophomore year there were twenty-one of us left. But during the year we lost Bonnie Whittenbarger and Patty Andrews. We got Darrell Stout back from Adams Central. Our officers were: Herman Fox, president - Darlene Fortney, vice- president - Larry Myers, secretary - Shirley Williamson, treasurer. We order our class rings and had two parties. Mr. Reed was our class sponsor. By now our boys had become interested in sports and were playing for the second team. Woe started our junior year with twenty members. But we lost Walter Hirschy and Jack Moser. Almost right away we received our class rings. Shirley Williamson was elected president - Darrell Stout, vice-president - Raymond Litchenberger, secretary - Lee Wolfe, treasurer Miss Blocher was elected as our sponsor. This was really a busy year for us, but we had a lot of fun. Some of the boys played for the first team, while others played on the second team. Here we are back with just eighteen members. Most of our boys are playing on the varsity while Ross Winans and Allen Girod are student managers. Our officers for this year are: Shirley Williamson, president - Herman Fox, vice-president - Ruth Heimann, secretary - Pauline Roe, treasurer. Miss Blocher was elected as our sponsor again this year. We've been quite busy making money for our class trip. We gave a play, Just Ducky and we are now working on other projects. Before we know it, graduation time will be here.
