Johnny on the Spot--that's us! Here we are back as Dignified Seniors, Class of 49. There are twenty-one of us to struggle through until that great day of graduation. We lost Clara Belle Daniels, but gained one of our old schoolmates, Reta Mauller. Much thought was given to the choosing of our Senior Class Officers. They are as follows: President --------------- Bob Wolfe Vice-President --------- Mildred DeRoo Secretary -------- - -Anna Belle Case Treasurer ----------- Phyllis Heimann Sponsor ---- ----- M rs. Eloise Andrews Our class play, GONE WITH THE GIRLS, was given January 28, 1949. It was a great success. One party has been held during the year at the school grounds, with the Seniors entertaining the Freshmen. We thought it would be a good idea to give them a great big welcome into this great old place of Education - P. M. H. S. CAN YOU IMAGINE Annabelle Case not cracking a joke? Eleanor Chronister walking slow? Mildred DeRoo with black hair ? Ruth Ehrsam not riding home after school with Dick Bailey? Pat Gephart without curly hair ? Glen Geyer not being sleepy? Lee Girod having a date ? Io Ann Heimann without her grin? Phyllis Heimann without some boy's class ring ? Alta .Tones without her long skirts ? Reta Mauller having low grades in Bookkeeping ? Ed McCullough without his Model A? Bryce Miller not having a smart answer in English Class ? Joyce Musser being loud? David Ripley not blushing ? Josephine Sheets not sleeping in Mrs. Hendrick's assembly? - Gene Suman not playing basketball ? Sabina Taylor not cutting up? Beverly White not cracking her gum in U. S. Government Class ? Bob Wolfe not being President of the Senior Class ? Alice Young not fixing her hair ? 16
