From 7:25 until 2:50 we rushed frantically, scurry- ing through the halls of knowledge which beck- oned us to experiment and to discover, to share bril- liant thoughts or to meet frenzied deadlines. The days were loaded with energy and yet, there was still time for solitude, to make friends, and to enjoy life. Together We made com- mittments faced disap- pointments, achieved goals. Pleasant Lee Junior High was a place to learn, to grow, and to meet friends. We had come from seven different ele- mentary schools With var- ied backgrounds and blended into a polished and compact unit. In these pages are our memories collected so that we may reminisce about the good old days.

dmini trators C The start of the 1981-82 school year brought a few changes to the Lee's Summit School District. Two new assistant superin- tendents were hired, Dr. Grigsby and Dr. Crouch, to coordinate elementary and secon- dary education. The administration set the policies for the school district and spent a great amount of time visiting the different schools and learning the individual needs of each building.
