Other passengers in the plane were Calvin Wolfe, Keith Frey, and Lester Painter. Les has been spending a lot of time going to Ag. school and was just given an im- portant job with the Department of Agriculture. Calvin as you know, owns the country's largest amusement company, the Cumber- slicer Amusement Company. I guess Keith Frey is the only boy from the class to stay on the farm. Keith now owns 700 acres of the best land in St. Mary's Township. After talking to these boys for awhile our attention was drawn to the new Cadillac in the driveway., It was Rex Raudenbush and his wife, the former Patsy Burkhart. Rex is doing very well lately, he owns a half interest in the Burkhart Ditching Company. About supper time, Violet Judge and Marilyn Sipe telegraphed from Washington D.C. to tell us that they were too busy to come see us. They are nurses at the Walter Reed Hospital and since the war was just over they have a lot of cases to take care of. .Tust then there was a heck of a racket outside and Ilene Mitchel and her husband, Richard Peterson, came riding up on a motorcycle. They are very prosperous as they now own their own construction company but they still ride the motorcycle just for fun. ' About fifteen minutes later .Terry Price came driving up in his 1963 Ford. Jerry could afford a bigger car, but he is still a Ford man. Bud Case was with Jerry. They both play for the Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons. Jerry has a beautiful wife, fguess whoj and three boys that he is training to become ball players. Bud was married just last year to a good looking star player of the Fort Wayne Daisies. Right behind them was Shirley Fox and her husband, Bill Johnson. They now raise cattle on their farm in Blue Creek Township. Shirley brought Rose Bilderback with her. Rosie is the English professor in a a big eastern college. Well, I guess that's all of us. No! Wait a minute. There comes Betty Sheets with two soldier boys. Betty is now a member of the Women's Air Force. After refreshments and a swell evening together they all started back home and I had to get back to keep the Navy going. Before we left, however, we all agreed to meet again in 1973. Till then, Bye! Clarence Edward Zimmermann
