CLASS HISTORY We, as freshmen, entered P. M. H. S. with an enrolhnent of twenty-eight pupils, from five different schools. We soon became a United Organization, enthusiastic and full of ideas about our first year in school. Right away we elected the following officers: President, Jerry Price, Vice-president, Jim Wilson, Secretary, Rose Bilderback, Treasurer, Ilene Mitchel, Sponsor, Mr. Higgins. One day we shall never forget was our Freshman Initiation. Marching around the study hall with our clothes on wrong side out, in our bare feet, and our hair in a strange fashion, we furnished entertainment for everyone. We had one class party which was held in the school house. There was plenty of fun and excitement afoot. We, as sophomores, began our second year in P. M.. H. S. with twenty- four students. We immediately chose our class officers as follows: President, Rex Raudenbush, Vice-president, Shirley Johnson, Secretary, Shirley Edwards, Treasurer, Jim Wilson. Our class was well represented in all school activities. Most of the boys played basketball. Three were on the first team, and others that participated in sports were on the second team. Three of our girls were second team cheer leaders--Shirley Johnson, Shirley Edwards, and Audrey Gephart.

As Junior Jottings we started our 3rd year of high school with twenty- two members. Losing Carol Musser, Donald Suman, and Jerry Neadstine. To enlarge our treasurery we sold pop and hot dogs at ballgames and also sold magazines during the year. For the magazine sales the class awarded a radio to Jerry Price who sold the most subscriptions. Class officers for the year were as follows: President, Shirley Fox, Vice-president, Rose Bilderback, Secretary, Ilene Mitchel, Treasurer, Audrey Gephart. We also had two enjoy- able class parties, one of which was held at the school house, and the other at the home of Ilene Mitchel. We also entertained a large group of people by giving a play called Three Cheers for Western. On May 9, 1952 school was dismissed and we were all looking forward to our senior year at P.M. H. S. Well, we entered good old P. M. H. S. for our last year as seniors. We still have our same class with twenty-two members. As a way of raising money for our class trip we sold ice cream and candy to the large groups that attended our basketball games. Also, we sold Christmas cards the first sem- ester. We are proud of our boys that participated in basketball. The first five of the basketball squad were as follows: Lester Painter, Bud Case, Jerry Price, Keith Frey, and John King who all came from our senior class. They did real good in helping to win the games and will be remembered in the following years. We gave a play called Inner Willy , which was a comedy. We were happy to have the large group of people that attended the play. The class officers for the year were chosen as follows: President, Jim Wilson, Vice-president, Audrey Gephart, Secretary, Shirley Johnson, and Treasurer, Shirley Edwards. We are now looking forward to our class trip which we are planning to start April 19.
