The Commercial Deparlmenl will slill slrive lo produce a beller school paper nexl year. New lealures will be soughl and more inleresling wrile-ups will be required. The deparlmenl is planning on using lhe money made on lheBlTTER- SWEET lhis year and lhal made on lhe Sparlonian loward lhe purchase ol an adding machine. Evenlually il is lhe desire ol lhe deparlmenl lo have lables and chairs lo lake lheplaee ol lhe seals now in lhe room. This would laciliale lhe work ol lhe sludenls in lhe deparlmenl and would lend lo lend a more business-like appearance lo lhe room. ll is lhe hope ol lhe Vocalional Deparlmenl lo increase lhe proliciency ol lhe prospeclive lulure larmers lhrough improved class lechniques, by addilional shop equipmenl, by improved library lacililies in lhe class room, and by in- creasing lhe aclivilies in 4-H club work and olher rural aclivilies. This has been a successful school year and a happy one lor lhe Home Economics Deparlmenl. The girls have learned many lhings which have helped lhem lo accomplish lheir aim lo be beller home members. Nexl year in order lo accomplish lhis aim more lully lhe nHappy Home Ecersn will have new re- ference books, more pamphlels and charls lo show lhem beller melhods ol cooking and charls lo help lhem solve problems in clolhing conslruclion.
