At the street fair it played two concerts a day and was host to all visit- ing bands. On October 26th the band presented a pep assembly, and at the last home football game it marched onto the field and formed an anchor in honor of Navy Day. It played at the Lee's Summit and Holden basketball games. The band won first in the contest of marching bands at Holden last fall. In the conference contests held at Baytown April llth, the band, the brass quartet, and the clarinet quartet were entered.

In the fall they entered the Mid-West Livestock Show held in Kansas City. This spring the students entered the Voc. Ag. Students' Conference and contests held at Columbia, Mo., the District Voc. Ag. contest at Warrensburg, and the Drurnm Farm Voc. Ag. contest Where they entered in dairy, livestock, grain, and poultry judging. The F.F.A. has a busy and interesting future to look forward to and the Ag. students of P.H.H.S. will do their part.
