This group appeared at various en- tertainments during the year. ' On February 24th, the Mixed Chorus sang l Know My Redeemer Liveth and The Lord's Prayer at the Presbyterian Church. They participated in the Easter assembly and sang The Call to Remem- brance for baccalaureate services. The Midwest Conference music contests were held at Raytown April llth, and the Mixed Chorus and Mixed Quartet entered these contests.

At the street fair it played two concerts a day and was host to all visit- ing bands. On October 26th the band presented a pep assembly, and at the last home football game it marched onto the field and formed an anchor in honor of Navy Day. It played at the Lee's Summit and Holden basketball games. The band won first in the contest of marching bands at Holden last fall. In the conference contests held at Baytown April llth, the band, the brass quartet, and the clarinet quartet were entered.
