The club bought blank discs and resold them to students, and also bought game discs and charged students to use them. with the profits from these activities, the clubs purchased equiptment like hand controls for the computers. In November the Student Directory was started and, after some difficulties, was finally finished in late March. The annual March of Dimes drive was one successful accomplishment of the National Honor Society. Members were assigned to different territories to collect donations. NHS was a co-host for the Student Recognition Night inwhich they, with help from Student Council and the school board, recognized outstanding students by treating them to a pizza feed and an activity. The Billies showed their team expertise by working together to make it to the State Playoffs. Their over-all win-loss record was 8-2 league and 10-M non-league. Seven of the Billies were selected to be on the SAA-A All-Stars team. Melanie Howard was selected for 1st team outfielder and Favona Bellew was selected for utility. The following team members were chosen for the second All-Stars team: Becky Roof, 1st baseman, Kaylean Podschum, outfielder, Bobbie Severance, catcher, and Cathy Walker, utility. Honorable mention, was given to Rachel Babbs for second base. All players will be returning next year.
