Varsity Football The Billie Football Team did not have a winning season this year, but the team worked hard and played as a whole unit. The Billies were in a tough position this year with the new Sky-Em league formed matching the old Skyline teams of South Umpqua, Douglas, Sutherlm and Glide against the dissolved Emerald League teams of Marist, Creswell, Oakridge, and Pleasant Hill. Out of this league came the state champion, South Ump- qua team. Marist, also a member of the Sky-Em league was rated no. 8 in the state. The co-captains for the Billies this year were Jeff Greer and Brad Wag- goner. Offensive guard Jeff Greer and defensive lineman Brian Miles were selected 2nd team All-League, and Brad Waggoner, Bobby George, and Kevin Cumiford received All- League Honorable Mention.
