J V Rally The Junior Varsity Rally was very supportive of the team. They made signs for games and had things baked to give to the players after practice. The girls put lots of originality into their cheers like, Breaker 1 -- 9 , a take-off of the ever-popu- lar CB talk. The only girl on JV Rally with f prior experience was Debbie Whipple. She has been a cheerleader for two years previously. Deg Debbie was also the only one of the four girls able to attend rally camp in the summertime. She brought back several creative ideas used by the squad. JV Rally also performed a skit and did cheers at the Pep Assemblies. a. Raise your Spirit! , yells Debbie and Heidi. b. Dance Team The Dance Team for '77-'78 was involved in foot- ball and basketball. Dance Team got off to a slow start during football season. Then basketball start- ed up and Dance Team started to move. Move is exactly what they did. Some of their most memor- able routines were Night Fever and Roller- coaster . They performed at nearly every football game and only missed one basketball game. 'They also put on a Pep Assembly. They had some money-raising projects. They were two dances and a bowl-a-thon. Dance Team mem- bers had alot of support from the student body and raised S150.00. a. Dance Team Captains Leslie Sharp and Laurie Davie perform for both crowds. b.
