The turn of the wheel Through the KEY we hope to retain a history of the 70-71 school session. Because We know it is impossible to re- capture each student's special moments, We have to record the main events of the past school year. The time and ef- fort spent on learning, the fun of sports and activities, and all the little things which make up memories that will last a lifetime, are preserved forever in this book and in our hearts. Life at Pleasant can be compared to a wheel. The hub of the wheel repre- sents the school itself as the focal point of learning. But a hub does not consti- tute a wheel, for it must have its other components before it can serve a use- ful purpose. Each phase of school life is symbolized by the spokes, which are fastened to the hub and encircled by the rim, that represents the year 7l .
