Sock it to 'em Spartans! A Pleasant Cheerleader? ! ? Entertainment Student Councils During the 1970-71 school year, the students of PHS were occasionally entertained by as- semblies. The first assembly the Student Council presented was an educational one. It was entitled This Atomic World. On December 18 the annual Christmas program Was pre- sented. The Concert Band and Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Dan Mitchell, supplied the appropriate seasonal music. The Speech Class completed BELOW: Kim jerew as the Grinch . Filmstrips show Magellan's voyage. Elgin Concert Band under the baton of Mr. O'Neil.
