Newly crowned Queen Tamara Rice and her court preside over Homecoming ac- tivities beginning Friday night October 16 with a 14 -O victory over Riverdale's Falcons. The Pleasant High School Marching Band provided delightful half- time entertainment With the theme of Oh You Beautiful Doll. The following evening, Heavy Labour produced the musical atmosphere for the dance theme of Walking in Space. l 18 ABOVE- As Queen Tammy stands at the mike, she thanks all the people who made it possible for her to become queen. Uur Hearts Were Young And Gay This year the Drama Club, under the direction of Mrs. Marion Gemmill, presented OUR HEARTS WERE YOUNG AND GAY. The play, Written by Cornelia Otis Skinner and Emily Kimbrough, was set on board a Steamship and in a hotel room in Paris during the early l92O's. The play was Written about the adventures and acquaintances surrounding the two girls. After many long hours of rehearsal, the play was per- formed in the round.
