MOTTO: The higher we climb, the broader the view. F LOWER: Lilac COLORS: Lilac and White lnthis movie,The Production of P.G.H.S., the junior class has provided many outstand- ing characters who played their various roles. With the leadership of our officers and advisor, who are pictured above, we had a successful year. There were five students who worked diligently to help produce what they think is the best AMO-ENA ever to be printed. Throughout the year to challenge us, there were examinations, grades, scoldings, and trips to the office. To offset these, we had parties, dates, ball games and interesting and romantic conversations in the hall. April arrived and the Juniors and Seniors were Washington bound. Then in May, we honored the Seniors with a Junior -Senior Banquet at the E1k's Lodge. This memorable event, one of the highlights of our Junior year, will live in our hearts always. The Jtmiors will remember the day our class rings arrived. These rings proved to be the symbols of our achievement of three difficult but prosperous years in high school. To climax this feeling of having nearly achieved our goal, we, the Juniors, on Class Day 1961, took our places as Seniors of Pleasant Grove High School. We are no longer followers, but now the leaders! -' ,.ns '1 I Oh 1 -', 9 ,,j.1-iq... -61-g O'0'v. ,,. 1 Q -tg . . 1 ' on 5- D0 ' 'V .R ... .. o ' .. r O 9 1
