It builds a better school spirit and promotes goodwill among the students. To finance their major project - buying sweaters for the senior members - and to contribute to the athletic fund,the members sold refreshments at the games. Many, musical records were made at Pleasant Grove School by the Glee Club, which practiced diligently and gave of its talents on many occasions. In the spring the classical songs of the Parent Teacher Association pro- gram gave pleasure to m any , and at commencement and baccalaureate the beautiful messages in song were en- joyed by the entire community. Glee Club membership is open to any high school student, who wished to engage in such activities as singing, listening to musical recordings, becoming familiar with the live s of famous com- posers, and learning new songs. 39

Old Mac Donald Had A Farm gulurc Sfarmcrs The Pleasant Grove Chapter of the Future Farmers of America, consisting of sixty members, is one of 8,500 located in the United States, Hawaii, and Pue-rtoRicawithatotal membership of 400,000. MembC1'S are students of vocational agriculture and are carrying out a supervised farm project on both county and district level, among these contests are: live stock judging, parliamentary procedure, public speaking, and seed and shop contests.
