Early in the year the Seniors elected their mascots, superlatives, and Amo-ena Staff. At the first of theyear, the S e nior s began working on their major literary project - this vol- ume of the Amo -ena. In the amateur program, Bobby Berry participated, and Kenneth Sumner, Glendale Dickey, Lar ry .Tone s , Neil Carey and Donnie Page were initiated into the Monogram Club, Nine Seniors ,Neil Carey, Opal Tilley, Lila Walker, Glendale Dickey, La 1- ry Jon e s, Rachel Boswell, Kenneth Sumncr,Dottie Staunton, and Kayo Page re- ceived their sweaters r e p r e s e n ti ng the various sports in which they participated. As this goes to press, the Seniors and Jun- iors are planning a joint trip to our Nation's Capital. D. C. Christmas party at school, the New party, the practice for the Senior play, romance of the Junior-Senior Banquet, Washington, The Ye ar's Eve the fun and the ordering and mailing of invitations, and the final examinations brought the Seniors to their final re- cord - graduation, the goal of these twelve years, May their individual records in life be a credit to their Alma Mater! f5 fvfl-ex 95511 D
