DEDICHTIUH Help thy brother's foot across and lo, thine own has reached the Shore. You may hang up mottoes All over the hall, But remember the word we announce, It is not the motto that hangs on the wall But the motto you live that counts. I Mr. G. B. Dixon, at once a gentleman, and a scholar as well as a teacher of the soil, and a big brother to ambitious young men, lives such a motto. His scientific man-power workshop has increased the supply of sci- ence and engineering students from our high school to college, and to the farm, as well as to various forms of skilled labor. This courteous and considerate instructor has given us a design for liv- ing, and for making a living. This design is a grass-roots attack on the short- age of scientifically trained personnel in these fields. To this beloved teacher and friend we dedicate with fraternal affection the nineteen hundred fifty-six edition of the PIHES
