The Student Cooperative Association includes representatives from all homerooms who meet together to discuss problems and activities. They sponsor many charitable drives, athletic events, and dances. The Outing Club is a back to nature group. They participate on weekend trips to practice backpacking and camping out. During the year, they sponsored an aluminum drive to collect re- cycled materials. Throughout their activities, they demonstrate deep concern for the environ- ment. The Student Instructional Advisory Committee is a select group of students from all grades. They meet together with the Administrators to share in planning activities in school. Formed this year, the WPJH Radio Club is designed to give stu- dents interested in careers in radio the opportunity to learn more about the field of broadcasting. Membership is by audition only, and provides the students with practical experience in the world of radio. ln addition to learning, the student disc jockeys produce pro- grams on a regular basis for the entertainment of the student body at Plaza.
