This team helps to direct pupils toward better understanding of their role at school and of possible goals in their future, A large focus was given this year toward exposure of career choices by inviting well-known personalities to speak with students. The Guidance members like Plaza students. .. In their spare time, they enjoy - - - snow skiing... fishing... music... and 0 needlepoint crafts. W r R94-uxmly X'l'S?rr L The Secretaries - Mrs. Peery, Mrs. Long, and Mrs. Lee Peery Mrs. Marjorie Long Secretary Secretary Mrs. McGovern - along with the Bookkeeper, Mrs. McNamara, are responsible for insuring that all school or business matters are handled quickly and clearly. Certainly the office is al- ways busy, yet these remarkable women will always interrupt what they are doing to answer teachers', students', and parents' questions and help with any problems. Plaza boasts of such an outstanding, hard-working office staff. The Office staff has a variety of interests . . . Mrs. Peery continues to take college courses in the evenings. .. Mrs. McGovern likes plants and sewing... Mrs. McNamara keeps in shape by exercising and jogging. . . and Mrs. Long enjoys learning the history or the stories about all kinds of things, including old recipes, hand- i . Illnesses and accidents are given imme- diate and thorough attention. ln addition to so many responsibilities, Mrs. Morelin helps to insure good health by screening students' vision and hearing. Mrs. Morelin finds pleasure in nursing because she can better help people... after school, she likes to sew, re-finish antiques, and take camping trips.

Not only can educational television programs be piped into classrooms, but students are given opportunities to video-tape many projects Mr Pippin helps to bring out many talents in students through his unique working relationships with his crew Mr Ellis likes to work with mechanical equipment . ..
