The Girls Chorus is made up ofgirls whose schedules prohibited them from participating in the Concert Chorus. These girls learn about all periods of music and concentrate on building voice tone. They performed with the Concert Chorus, Mixed Chorus, and Madrigals at the Spring Concert. The Madrigals are a very special group of singers. These students audition to be in the group which is limited to 15-18 members. Rythyms and Sounds The Trojan Majorettes march with the band at parades and football games. The girls practice diligently before and after school working up complex twirling and dance routines. The B and C Bands provide a place for the intermediate and beginning instrumentalist to gain skill and expe- rience working with a musical group. S Mixed Chorus Sings Out For Plaza The Mixed Chorus is made up of eighth grade boys and girls. These students concentrate on being able to sing the parts they are asked to sing. Vocal exercises are used to extend the voice range both in the upper register as well as the lower register. Music must be chosen carefully for the changing voice of the boy.
