The foreign language department of Plaza Junior High strives to promote better understanding between countries as a result of learning a foreign language. The language lab aids in this aspect and is used by each student at least once a week for thirty to forty minutes. There are two levels of each language taught at Plaza. On the first level oral and listening comprehension are stressed. During the second year. students are introduced to more reading. '- --4 'ir0--i, ' if 'T ' r Humanities students, D. Mackie, R. We paint a little, sing a little, But talk most ofthe time Listen to the sounds of earth and silence And sometimes make a rhyme. We search for answers, ask some questions, TODAY is where it's at. The team teaches eight different levels of math from General Math I and ll through Algebra and Unified Geometry.
