Students Explore World of Space At Plaza Planetarium Herbert D. Teuscher Planetarium Director The Planetarium is an instrument of many and varied uses as an educational facility. It is limited only by the imagination of those who employ the planetarium as a teaching device. It is used to explain more thoroughly concepts that cannot be adequately explained in the classroom. This facility not only serves as a science supplement for students but adults and others in the community are able to witness pro- grams and demonstrations which are free and open to the public. The primary objective ofthe planetarium will be to make programs educa- tionally stimulating and informative. The hostesses aid with public programs by seating the guests. passing out handbills. and explaining the instruments.
