Girls' Basketball Comes To PHS For First Year Girls' basketball returned to Plattsburg High School after at least a 10-year absence. From a group of girls that had hardly touched a basket- ball, a team was formed that played many other teams that have had es- tablished programs for quite some time. Although no games were won, the challenges, experiences, and opportunities that each girl gained more ac- curately measures the season. In this respect, the girls had a fine season. With twelve lettermen returning and more hard work, the girls are looking forward to adding winning to the many things they learned in their initial year of basketball.
