Dedman. He has two brothers and sisters, Steve 22 and Laurie, 20. He was born on September 6, 1957. Stanley was active in high school: FOOTBALL- 9,10,11,12 as split end and defensive halfback. Lettered 10,11,12. Captair 12. All Conference Defense 12. All Conference Offense 12. Defensive Secondary Trophy 12. BASKETBALL- 9,10,11,12. Lettered 11,12. Played as guard. Captain 12. Outstanding Basketball Player 12. TRACK- 9,10,11,12. Lettered 10,11,12. Long jump, triple jump, and the 180 low hurdles. CLUBS- Plattsburg Athletic Club, 11,12. Lettermans Club, 11, 12. Band, 9,10,11,12. Raymond Farwell For the first time in its history, the Ron Krumme Award was given to two outstanding senior athletes. The first recipient was Raymond Farwell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Farwell. Raymond was born August 2, 1956, and has four brothers and sisters, Rachel, 27, Howard 25, Beth, 23, and Ellen, 17. Raymondls accomplishments at P.H.S. in- clude the following: WRESTLING- 9,10,11,12 in the 1323 class. Lettered 9,10,11,12. Conference Tournament- 2nd, 11, and lst, 12. Several school records were set and the girls scored well at major track meets. The 880-medley team of Lavonne Smith, Gwyneth Shoate, Diana Buckley, and Mamie Jackson placed first and led the way to an eighth place finish in the 22-school Bearcat Relays. Probably the best indicator of the girls' season was the conference track meet. The girls improved from a last place finish the year before, to a sixth place finish this year. Team leaders at the conference meet Were- Lavonne Smith in the 220-yard dash, Carol ing the season were Beverly Adams in the discus and Susan Shoemaker in the mile. With most of the team being freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, girls' track at Plattsburg should be even better next year. Stickford in the 880-yard run, and Robbin Ogle in the softball throw.
