They tried to make the school-life easier. After thorough research and deliberation, plans were put underway for the installment of a telephone and also a pop machine. The addition of fruit machines was also discussed. The future use of a student government was also talked about. With the help of Student Body President Eddie Hackett and Vice-president Larry Grant, the council sponsored a very successful homecoming. For the first time in several years, the council took charge of the Courtwarming Dance, an addition to the PHS calendar of activities. The council was kept busy this year. 113

After the weather decided to treat the golfers nicer, they had a good season. Boys' Varsity Golfers were: J oe Kipper, Ray- mond Farwell, John Enderle, Mike Deaver, and Paul Conrad. Girls' Varsity were: Susie Brenner, Beth Gip- son, Lesa White, Ellen Booth, and Jimalee O'Conner.
