Hanrahan. 65 1979 NCC Vocal Music The Nebraska Capital Conference Vocal Music Clinic was held at Platteview this year on November 14th. Ten schools participated under the direction of guest conductor Jon Peterson, director of the Music Department at Lincoln East High School. The songs rehearsed during the day were “I Got Rythm,” “Exultate Deo.” “Psalm 67,” “Amazing Grace, and “Great Jubilation.” Chris Leigh and Jim McElwain, and Ed Sempek helped with the guitar accompan- iment. A concert was held that evening for the public. Along with the mixed chorus, each school had a small group that performed.
