Band This year has been an outstand- ing one for Mr. Leigh and his band members. Although the record of six consecutive I’s at Pershing was broken, the band would not be de- feated. They displayed their fine talent and great ability by getting straight I’s at the District Contest. They filled the year preparing for their Canadian trip in June in hopes of winning the sweepstakes.
