Library Staff The library is one of the places many students go during the day. This year a few changes have taken place. New shelves were added, a newspaper rack, and we also saw the beginning of bound periodicals. There are 6 sets of encyclopedias for our use, over 350 volumes, and approx- imately 60 magazines to read and enjoy. As you see we have sufficient material in our library to use and enjoy according to our needs. We also have more room to accommodate most people because this year we are using the back classroom as a section of the library. Miss Kirchman greeted all her library fans this year with a pleasing smile, but if the noise was louder than necessary her smile would change to a deep frown -- and out you go Students that helped with the Library this year were, E. Vierregger. Business Club This year the business club journeyed to Omaha to visit businesses and view the surroundings the girls might find themselves in some day. As a sideline they toured KMTV and learned how a TV show was developed. While there, they met Shirley Temple who talked with them briefly. German Club Ich liebe Deutsch! The German Club held many arousing meetings this year including skits presented for the entertainment of all by the officers. They planned a sleigh riding party but the lack of snow posed a problem. Another proposition was a swim party but Ralston had no open date. They would not give up however and in the spring enjoyed nature by an outing in Fontenelle Forest and a picnic after a hay- ride. Pictured Above. German Club officers are left to right.
